LG 9800, wont turn on, white screen while charging

Basically my phone refuses to turn on, I tried charging it and when I plug the cable in the screen lights up white (main, and front) and still wont turn on. I've taken the battery out, and done pretty much everything I can possibly think of.

Is there any way to reset the phone without turning it on?

Or even better a way to simply make it work?

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Take it to verizon. They'll prob tell you that you need a new one. Did you get it wet recently?
