LG 8300 Equalizer

Ok, I promise I've done a search, but I apologize if this has been discussed.
I've read reviews that the LG 8300 has a equalizer for the MP3 player. Just this weekend I added a MicroSD in order to use the MP3 and can't find the equalizer anywhere. Even the guy at the Verizon store couldn't find it, and he was sure it was there somewhere. I do have sw v3 on the phone. As much as I like Verizon, they like to lock features, is this yet another?

wow, 41 views and no replies. I guess there isn't a way to do it. Oh well. I realize the thing isn't an iPod, but a graphic equalizer is pretty basic item for an Mp3 plaler..LOL
