I wet my Lg cell phone

I spill water on it and then i think i did something stupid by turning it back on when its not completely dry. Will the phone be okay? it happened two days ago and it still doesn't work. I have some old cell phones but they require a sim card with i can't find on my cell.
And if not how much is a new phone? i'm clueless when it comes to cell phones.

I have dropped my entire cell phone, in a glass of kool-aid. I took the back of the phone off, and took the battery out, and just let it air-dry. Otherwise, you may have to get a new phone, I know that is not what you want to here, but it may be what you have to do.

I think i might have to get a new one becuz i didn't wait for it to dry completely and i think i might have damaged it. How much is a new phone?

I tear up phones doing crap like this all the time! Insurance is $5 bucks a month and that is WAY cheaper than the one or two phones a year I go through. If it's an accident, it's an accident. Check it out with your carrier.
