I have a two-month old LG VX5300 that's having trouble powering on. It's very inconsistent when I try to power it on -- mostly it doesn't -- other times it will.
I thought perhaps it was the battery, even though the battery indicator always indicates fully charged. Today I took it to Verizon and they did a software update, installed a new battery, and of course it was working when I left the store; the new battery was 3/4 charged. When I got home I charged it up fully and subsequently turned it off.
When I tried to power it on just a few minutes ago, it would not turn on. After trying for about five minutes, it finally did power on. I left it on a few minutes, powered it off, and in a few minutes tried to power it on again. Same thing happened -- wouldn't power on.
I've never gotten this phone wet or subjected it to extreme temperature variations, etc. In fact, I have barely used it, but I would really like to have a cell phone that works for emergencies, etc.
Any ideas what might be the cause of this problem? Thanks.
