Getting Music to LG Rumor

I'm trying to transfer music to an LG Rumor. I have put the microSD card into a card reader, loaded music to the card from my desktop computer, and then placed it in the phone. When going to the media player, it always shows "no content". I have tried putting the files into the base directory of the card, into a folder called "media", etc. with no luck. So, my questions:

- I'm trying this with WMA files. The phone's user guide says this format is supported, but I'm reading some conflicting information on websites. Can anyone confirm that WMA is supported?

- If someone has this working, where are the files placed on the card?

im not sure i have the rumor and my mp3s play cause once you put the car in the phone it creates a folder where you put the files

did u put the memory card into your phone BEFORE you tried it on the computer? if not, try that, then insert it into the computer again.... try going to MY COMPUTER then clicking on removable disk or whatever the name of your memory card comes up... there should be a place to transfer your music into there... just click from your music folder and drag them into the music folder on the memory card....

It wont play anything you ever downloaded from iTunes...

stupid .m4a protection. Which makes you wonder what exactly you pay for with your dollar...

Window phones support WMA. Rumor is not windows. Try an mp3,midi,or wav format. But before you do that..make sure you format the card from your phone by going to mass storage and formating card.. (to creat the folders needed). Then just drag and drop to the music folder on the card.

I just have mp3s on mine and it works fine through the media player on the phone.

However, if anyone has any clue how to use an mp3 as a ringtone let me know.

Where do you find mass storage on the lgrumor2? I went into settings and nothing is there. It says insert card all the time. I used itunes to copy my music. Also it doesn't read in my cousins lgrumor2 also.
