I have a LG AX8600 and I have both paid for and created my own ring tones by converting my music files to .qcp format. The ring tones that I paid for sound great whereas the ones that I have created suck.They sound "crunchy". Trust me if you have created a qcp ring tone, you will understand.

My question comes in three parts:
1 - Is there a nice sounding way to make qcp formatted ring tones?
2 - If there is not, what format are the ring tones that I paid for?
3 - How do I get my music files to that format?

BTW - I am loading them through the SD card. I am not using BITPIM. I use Alltel service. My phone is silver. Okay I think that is all the relevant information and probably some irrelevant info as well.
