Can't get music to play on LG Muziq

Hey, so my sister got an LG Muziq phone a couple days ago and she put a few songs from the computer onto it (mp3 format), but they won't play. I'm not sure if it's the method she's using (hooking up to the computer through usb, and then just copying the mp3 files into the "Music" folder) The phone recognizes the song (when you go into the music section on the phone, it shows (x) amount of tracks) however when you try to play a song, it gives you an error and is unable to play the song. Does she maybe have to move the songs straight onto the card itself, and not onto the phone through usb?

Any help would really be appreciated.

I use the USB cord for my Musiq. It works just fine. But it's probably easier to put your music on by using the Sprint Music application. A disc for installation came with my phone. But another way would be to connect your phone wit the USB cord, and open your music folder to your phone through you computer, click and drag all your music files into the folder and then play. Either way has worked for me. MP3 files are the only files I believe will work.

when your done instead of just pulling the USB cord out of the phone try going to the bottom right hand corner of your computer screen and click on the little grey thing with the green arrow and safley disconnect your phone instead of pulling it out
