HELP LG Envy

Im trying to get to that hidden screen with the LG Envy and I have the green one....how do i acess this? I called ##77647269900 and tried hitting 0 when i got to the one screen...nothing works! how do i fix this!

Thanks!....i figured it out after like 2 hours or so of fiddeling with it...all i had to do was turn the phone off then turn it back on and then call the ##program9900......works great! what features can i access in here?

you can change your ev-do settings to prolong battery life, some people use this menu to tether their phones to get personalized (not free) internet. But unless you know exactly how the thing you change is going to affect your phone, don't do it. It is very easy for people to brick their phone.

How do you know if the EVDO is available in your area? Will there be something on my phone or what?

Yeah, there is a signal bar that starts with EV and then shows how many bars you have.

The problem in borderline rural areas is that they dont get full evdo coverage and the signal jumps in and out and drains the battery. The enV doesn't have much of a problem with battery life as other phones so changing EVDO signal in the service menu might not do a whole lot. but if you dont use internet or mobile TV or whatever, then you don't need it anyway and then why not turn it off?

My daughter dropped her Envy in the toilet. We dried it nout for a few weeks and now, when we put her friends envy battery in it, IT WORKS! So..we found a battery for Envy phones at Radio Shack and purchased it and when we put it in the phoneng., we got a weird response about it not working or something. I took the phone to radio schack along witht the new batt. Thenguy nsaid that envy batteries ONLY work. Not radio shack batteries? He said there may be a password code or something I can find online to override the settings? I have no clue!...Please Help

i have a question for you slatergirl:
i have a problem with dropping phones in the toilette and i just recently dropped my envy in the toilette and i lost all sound in it and the inside screan was dim would getting a new battery help me do you think?
i went ahead and got a new phone already but it would be nice to know for when i dropp this next one in the toillette
[i am sure replacing batteries are alot cheaper than replacing phones]
