LG 8100 wont start

hi i have a LG 8100 through telus & i was just texting one day & it froze ... so i tried to turn it off but it wouldnt go off so i took the battery out && put it back in. It turned on but wouldnt like start up. It just stays on the start up telus screen, doesnt load of anything && i also cant turn it off once its on that start up screen its just like frozen so i have to remove battery. It does the same thing when i plug it into the charger. All i wanna know, is if its completely hooped or if theres something i can do or press to reset or ANYTHING at all Got no warranty && its prepaid. Any help is greatly appreciated, thankss!

I don't believe that there are any settings that you could change that would fix this problem. Have you tried replacing the battery with a new one? If your phone is less than a year old, you can call LG's warranty dept. and have the phone repaired or replaced through them.
