BIG PROBLEM with LG VX 8300

Well, I'm going to try and explain this the best i can.... (sorry if it gets long)

I have an lg vx 8300, and when i opened the phone (it was on) to send a text, it started entering 0852 0852, and entering the options menu very quickly....

Now, the middle row of keys doesnt work... ( clr, speaker, 2, 5, 8, 0)

i turned the phone off, and now whenever i turn the phone on, a screen comes up that has the verizon wireless logo on the top half of the screen, an lg logo in the middle and downloading.... is on the bottom of the screen...

This graphic comes on whenever you turn the phone on within the next half hour, and after that, it turns on regularly. However, if u turn it off, it goes back to the downloading screen.

As an added problem, now my phone is locked (bcuz i have it set to lock when it comes on, and theres a 0 in my lock code)

If someone could help, i would appreciate it very much,

If the purchase date of the phone is still under one year take it to a Verizon corp store and get a replacement. Or call Customer Service.

yeah, i went to verizon and got a new one a whiiile ago....


im still kinda curious as to what actually happened tho...
