LG Scoop - Alltel

I have purchased the LG Scoop for my son just a few months ago, we have exchanged this phone twice for display issues. The display becomes unreadable - too bright. Any one else have this issue, is it how he operates the phone or are we just that lucky?

ive never used that specific phone but yes id say its a freak thing you got happening there, lcd's are touchy but two doing the same thing is just unlucky, if it was me id be done with that model and get a differnet model.
