Anybody have any idea how to get the IMEI of the Verizon LG VX8600?

I got this phone as a gift(Verizon LG VX8600) and I would like to transfer my cellphone number in this one but my Provider said they can't do it cause it's not one of their phone(Bell Mobilité)

so...I wonder if it's possible?

eek. Ellen, think Verizon will flash the software on the phone? I doubt it, but it might be worth a try.
