LG 285 - Custom ringtones?

Hi all,

I recently bought a new LG 285 cell phone (used with Telus).

It's registered with Telus right now (ie. i can "use" it for calls) however now I'd like to add custom ringtones to it.

Using bluetooth, I have successfully sent a sound file (in mp3 and midi) from my PC onto my cell phone. However I can't set it to be the ringtone. The sound file is only showing up in the "Voice Memo" application, but not showing up in the ringtone section.


I did some research and i believe i need to do some modifying to be able to enable custom ringtones on my phone?

I don't have a cable, so I'd like to use bluetooth if possible.

(Without having to pay anything).
