I recently got a new phone, the LG CU515. So far I'm very satisfied with it, however, I've been looking into it's media capabilities. In the same wreck that I lost my phone I also lost my mp3 player, so I've been toying with the idea of using my phone as both. I finally sucked it up and got a moderately cheap bluetooth headset. It works great for calls, but doesn't work at all for music.

After doing a bit of research, I think I've found that this is due to the fact that many LG phones only support streamed media via A2DP, so to do that I would need a stereo headset. Is this right? Is there any way I can force it to play music over the mono headset? I've never had a bluetooth headset before, so buying the wired stereo one wouldn't be a hassle for me at all, I'm just wondering purely for the sake of convenience, as it's much easier to carry a small ear piece than the two wired bluetooth ones of the wired stereo headset.

If having a stereo headset is the only way to do that then I can live with that, or just get a new mp3 player, I'm just mostly interested if it's possible to do it with the mono headset. I searched for a bit for an answer, but didn't find anything.
