LG VX8300 Jagged Movies / Video

Hi, I am encoding videos in mp4 format (renaming to .3g2) using various frame rates from 15-25 and various resolutions (176x144, 220x176,132x108) etc and can't figure out why I get jagged edges while in full-screen mode on my LG VX8300. In the standard player, everything is smooth and nice but once I get into the full-screen, everything looks messed up. Any ideas why this happens?
