AIM Mobile on LG VX8600

Hey, I've had my VX8600 for about a year and a half know and I can't figure out for the life of me how to use t9 on AIM Mobile. I've checked everything where I thought it would be and it's not showing. I'm not technology illiterate (I'm an IT tech) but I can't find the bloody option! Haha. If you can help, thanks.

I just figured it out, now I feel like an idiot....haha
