Micro SD problem

I got a Mini SD card for my phone a long time ago and so far, no problems. Just today, it started not working anymore, well not working right. What happens is when I go to insert it, if I hold it in the phone as far as it can go, it works. But the second I let go to let it "click" in, it automatically says "Card not inserted". Like I said, before today, no problems. Any ideas?

Well, I don't know for sure as I own a moto, but can you use a card reader and see if your comp can read the card? All the micro sd cards I've ever bought come with a SD adapter. Otherwise, maybe power off your phone and take a good look at the contacts on your phone and see if they either need a bit of cleaning or just use a micro screw driver to GENTLY bend them back out a bit so they will make better contact with your card. That is, if you can actually get to them. I personally try not to remove my card(s) at all.

I just realized I put Micro instead of Mini, but I guess that doesn't really make a difference...

My computer read it just fine, and I tried cleaning the small metal part on the card and still nothing when I put it in my phone.

Probably not, no, the slot where the card goes in is too small.

Well, you gave it the college try, sorry it didn't work out. I guess the last thing would be to try a different card if you have a spare, that is if you didn't already mention that in this thread. It's hard for me to remember the details of every thread I post in as I post in many at many different sites, as well as my write-ups at my own site.
