I have an sd card from an LG chocolate phone, the phone is gone but I want to access the files on it. The files look like this (P_00068.jpg.md). Does anyone know what these are and how I can open them? Or open them for me and send them back as a usable file? Thanks

Since no one is responding, but many people asked the same thing.
And because this webpage is a top google and bing search...
If your looking at a smart card from a phone and you see a picture named twice
For example:
p_0878.jpg
p_0878.jpg.md
The one with the extension .jpg.md is a .md file.
The .md is often a text note made about that picture.
Some cellphones put some proprietary data in-front of the text notes, just ignore the data.
Copy one .md file, then rename from .md to .txt
Now you can open it with anything (like windows notepad) to at least see the notes you made with about that picture.
