How do I upload music to my LG Spyder 830 via Micro SanDisk?

I've been puzzled as to how to use my Micro SD card for my LG Spyder. I put the Micro SD card into my PC using an adapter, and downloaded MP3 music files to it. It states it is on the disk. I then put it in my phone and it says the disk is empty. I've tried searching for help videos and sites and just can't seem to find answers to this issue. Any informative replies are greatly appreciated.

The phone probably has a specific directory structure that has to be used or the phone will not recognize the files. You will most likely need to move the music files to the “my_music” “music” or something similar directory before the phone will see the files. The phones user manual should say how the phone works regarding this.

I am having the same problem. my computer says the music is on the card, but the phone says the card is empty.the phone wont let me move any files when it says its empty and cant find any. Im having trouble putting the songs i have bluetoothed set to ring tones as well. i dont know if something is wrong with the phone or if im just doing it wrong. any help would be great and very much appreciated. thanks
