Re: LGNPST - LG Programming Ap - Flashing Firmware Tutorial

I don't think it works for the enV2, but for at least the enV3 and chocolate touch there's a more consumer friendly update software directly off lg's site. "the lg mobile update" is what its called and it just involves putting the phone into data mode (vs music sync mode) , it downloads the driver and then it updates your phone if necessary.

The link I have for it is not able to be posted since I'm a new user but you could search lg's site for the "lg software updater" . If I get to 20 posts I'll put up the link.

Just remember if your near your cell phone providers tech store it can take as little as 20 minutes to update your enV2 from them.

Always. Go to your Verizon tech store, tell them you want it updated and 20 minutes or less you have a legaly, stress free update. Both ways are free and probably "legal" but don't hassle yourself with this software. I had tried this a few times and no responses except for link-backs on my failed attempts to use these steps to update my "envy 2" to 07.

Re: LGNPST - LG Programming Ap - Flashing Firmware Tutorial

Is there anyone out there that has LGPST Lab Version 1.2 (or higher if there is one)? I cant seem to get passed phone settings on Lab v 1.1. It just gives me this error ERROR: Unable to load [UtilCom] Component This is driving me effing crazy!. The Dll is registered and the phone is in the yellow bar up top and all the info (including dll) is at the right. Everything seems fine until I press the "Phone Settings" Tab midway down the page and center. Any help? Maybe I do need lab v1.2 but I thought 1.1 would work....

Re: LGNPST - LG Programming Ap - Flashing Firmware Tutorial

I have a LG KT610 and due to poor battery life I need to update my firmware. I found the firmware to fix the battery problem but now I cant flash my phone... For some reason it just doesnt work. Lg phone updater tells me I already have latest firmware which is true it is the latest for my country but I need to flash it with a different country's firmware. Can somebody please help me?
