Music transfer via bluetooth?

Is it possible to transfer music to the microSD card via a bluetooth pairing? Don't have the USB cable yet but do have the computer's bluetooth set up for file transfers. Just got the LG VX8360 phone today still learning thanks.

for transfering file/song from one phone to other over bluetooth..both phones must have file transfer profile implemented.
If both of phones have this profiles...follow these steps..
1. go to the file which you want to send over bluetooth to other phone.

2. choose "send via bluetooth" or simillar option.

3. phone will start searching for devices.
4. Once the search is complete, select your friends device from the list that phone will show.

5. you will get a pop up to enter pin-key. enter "0000"
6. your friends mobile will show a pop up for pin key..enter "0000"

7. another pop up will appear on friends mobile, saying allow exchange of object or simillar. say YES

8. thats it file will get transfered

Please forgive my ignorance, but can you transfer music (or ringtones) in MP3 format from a computer to the phone (LG VX 8360) via bluetooth?

u can transfer music Via SD card but u hav to format the card first with the phone under the memory thatis under the settings and tools

I have also found that you can email mp3 ringtones to your phone:

Attach file to email. Address email to your phone. ([email protected]) (where x's stand for your cell phone number)--click send. Phone rings, you receive message, open and save to "my ringtones."

Regarding my last post: Those instructions are for phones with Verizon and the LG8360. May work with other Verizon phones--I would expect so.

Sorry for any confusion.
