LG BL40 Freq Question

Hello everyone,

I am currently in Korea and they are selling the LG BL40. From looking at GSM Arena, the 2G coverage of the phone would work when I bring it to Canada. It also has a SIM card slot so I could possibly use it with Rogers or Fido.
The Freq are as follows

2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 900 / 2100

I know I could not use the 3G of the phone back in Canada, but does anyone know if I would have any problems using the 2G network back home? It is one of the few phones here that I have seen that I may be able to use in Korea and back home.
