LG GR500R (Xenon) ringtone help

hey i'm trying to get my music from my micro SD card as a ringtone and nothing seems to be working. Any suggestions?

Ringtones must be less that 300kg and shorter than 30 seconds to be used as ringtones,
On most AT&T phones, you can move the ringtone from your sd card to the handset and it saves it in the directory so that it can be used as a ringtone.
