Phone help! Please!!

I just join verizon around christmas and i found out verizon bought out alltel and i thought i would get service at home well you see verizon wireless does not get cell phone service at my home but alltel has full service at my home and i have tried *228 (option 2 ) and that did not help and i do not have service at school and alltel has full service there so please help out is there any updates that i can get by going to a previous alltel store that is now verizon?

Look at your phone bill and call their customer service number
