News: LG Optimus One may receive the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update in May

LG had already mentioned last year that the LG Optimus One will receive the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update, but LG didn't say exactly when that would happen.

According to LG India, the Android 2.3 Gingerbread is said to happen before the end of May. Hopefully there won't be any delays as some of the other handsets have seen and hopefully it will happen long before the end of May.

The LG Optimus One is mid end smartphone that has these features: a 600MHz processor, 3.2 inch HVGA display, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a 3.2MP camera.
