Alright, so...I'm sure a thread like this has already been started, but I need a little help. Like so many before me, I have dropped my phone in water. Like an idiot, I freaked and kept trying to turn it on to make sure it was alright. Not sure what I was thinking. I finally left it alone for a few days. Even disassembled it completely and dried it off with qtips and such. Now, whenever I power it up, it's a blank white screen. I know it works (well, so to speak). It vibrates as if I have messages or missed calls. So, out of curiosity, I used my wifes phone to call mine, and lo and behold, the call went through and I could talk on it. So, my diagnosis is that something is seriously wrong with the display. I have tried and tried to figure it out, but thus I am stuck. Any help? Ideas? I don't particularly want to order any spare parts online or just flat out buy a new phone, which is why I am here. If by the tenth this problem still persists, I will have to trash it. Seems like a waste if there is any simple solution. Any feedback would be teh awesome!

It sounds like something in the water dried on the pcb (main board) of the phone and is shorting something. If you really want to try to do it yourself, I would disassemble the phone and very very carefully clean everything with pure rubbing alcohol. If you're lucky nothing will be permanently damaged.
