New LG Revere - battery not fully charging?

Just received a new LG Revere and despite being on the charger for 12+ hours, the battery indicator only shows 3 out of 4 bars of battery charge. Is this normal, or is the battery not up to snuff?

Oops. I discovered that using a USB port will not fully charge the battery but using the ac adapter will fully charge the battery.

Thanks for the update. USB doesn't provide as much power at a time as an AC adapter.
