I just got this phone. When I powered it up the clock in the top corner of the home screen says that it is 4 hours later than what my local time is. I have called Boost, Sprint, LG, and gone into the local store. Boost had me reset and reprogram the phone, Sprint advised me to call LG, and LG said that the clock runs off the local towers and should be the correct time. (ITS NOT!!!) The local store told me to Google how to reset the time on the lg optimus f7, and that in the results there would be a downloadable "fix" that would allow me to reset the date and time but I Googled, bing-ed and yahoo-ed with no luck and no more answers. If anyone out there has any advice or truly knows how to fix this problem I would be grateful. At this point my best answer is to return the phone and get a new one (cuz this is one of the STUPIDEST smartphones I have ever experienced)

That's very strange. Try going to Settings > System > Date and time > uncheck automatic date and time, and set the time zone or the time itself manually.

Thanks but I did there is not an option to change any numerical values, only to switch between standard and military time. I finally gave up and just returned the phone, but I did hear that there was a recent defect in those phones that LG sent out in August, someone else in town here had the same issue.

I'm having the same problem. Boost says it's LG's problem, LG says it Boost's. I'm just hoping they'll update the firmware with a fix because I really like the phone other than that. Except I am unable to pair my bluetooth headset, but I'll do another thread for that one
