How-to: LG Optimus F3: Enable and Manage Voicemail/Visual Voicemail

Voicemail

Calling Voicemail:

• Using the dialer:
  
  
  1. While on the home screen, tap the "Phone" icon
  2. Tap and hold the "1"key
  
  
• Using the Voicemail Application:
  
  
  1. While viewing the home screen, tap "Apps"
  2. Go to and open "Visual Voicemail"
  3. Tap the "Menu" button and select "Call voicemail"

Visual Voicemail Management (VVM)

Setting up Visual Voicemail:

1. From any home screen, tap the "Apps" icon
2. Open "Visual Voicemail"
3. Tap "Next"

Changing the Visual Voicemail Greeting to an Existing One:

1. While viewing one of the home screens, press "Apps"
2. Find and tap "Visual Voicemail"
3. Tap the "Menu" icon on the screen, and then select "Settings"
4. Tap "Greetings" and select the one that you wish to use

Recording a New Greeting:

1. While viewing one of the home screens, tap "Apps"
2. Scroll to and tap "Visual Voicemail"
3. Press the on-screen "Menu" icon and tap "Settings"
4. Select "Greetings" and tap "Add New"
5. Type in the name for the new greeting
6. Press "Record" to begin recording your greeting
7. Tap "Stop recording" when you wish to end the recording process
8. To review the greeting, tap the "Play" icon
9. Press "Save" to save the greeting
   

Listening to Voicemail Messages:

1. While on the home screen, tap "Apps"
2. Tap "Visual Voicemail" and select the message that you wish to listen to
3. Tap the "Play" icon

Changing the Visual Voicemail Password:

1. From any of the home screens, tap "Apps"
2. Select "Visual Voicemail" from the apps drawer
3. Press the "Menu" key on your device
4. Tap "Settings"
5. Tap "Change PIN" and enter your current PIN
6. Enter a new PIN and then re-enter the new PIN to confirm
7. Tap "OK" to save the new password

Disabling Visual Voicemail:

1. While viewing any home screen, press the "Menu" button on your handset
2. Select "System settings"
3. Under "Device", tap "Apps"
4. Slide the screen to the left until you reach the "All" screen
5. Scroll to and tap "Visual Voicemail"
6. Tap "Disable" and press "OK" to confirm
