Get data/pictures off of LG 620g

HI, I have an OLD lg sim phone but I don't have the sim card for it anymore(no idea) but theres some stuff on it I
would like to have. Is there anyway to get into it? Or do I have to buy a new sim and activate it again? I dont know
anything about this kind of stuff. Thanks

Specifically what phone is it? It's possible you can find a data cable for it and transfer things to your computer.

I will get the model when I get home. Its not a smartphone or anything. Its just an old flip phone with basic camera if the matters. I will post the model later when I get home. Thanks

Awesome I already have the cable and I just installed the driver. Only one problem now, I can't seem to fi d the battery. I'm just goin to order one of ebay I seen one on there for $4 shipped. Now once I have the battery do I just plug the cable I to the phone and my usb drive and the program will open and guide me througj it, because I can't seem to find the driver on my pc. Does the usb cable provide power? I would try that before getting a battery. Something should prompt you when you plug in the phone to your computer, yes. Use the link above to download the driver and install.

I think th cable supplies power because when I hook it up it says charging for a second then it says insert battery. But nothing is showing up on my laptop screen? I tried re-installing the driver several times and still nothi g. Am I not doi g something right maybe? Thank you for your help and patience.

After you plug the phone in did you hit the power button?

Yes and the phonewent through its opening sequence then shuts off then comes back on and says charging for a second then says insert battery.

Oh okay. Does anything pop up on your computer when you plug it in asking to install a driver, or does your computer acknowledge anything is plugged in at all? If not, you may need to get a battery. What version of windows do you have?

Ok I got a battery and have downloaded the driver but when I hook everything up I don't get any prompts on my pc.
and the phone says please insert the memory card then goes back to the screen that says insert sim

hrm, I don't know if it needs a sim to do anything or not. Do you have a spare laying around?

Yes I put one in it said simlock code-1 or something close to that. And the other said sim rejected.
Any ideas?

If I buy a sim from the carrier will it let me access the phone without purchasing airtime? Or will I have to completely activate it?
