Data Usage

Enabling the Data Usage Indicator:

  1. While on the home screen, tap the "All apps" icon
  2. Tap "Settings"
  3. Tap "Data usage"

Viewing Data Usage by Application:

  1. Tap "All Apps" while on the home screen
  2. Tap "Settings" > "Data usage"
  3. Scroll down to view data usage by app
  4. Select an app to view detailed information

Internet Browser Management

Clearing the Browser Cache, Cookies and History:

  1. While on the home screen tap the "Chrome" icon. If it's missing, tap "All apps" and browse for it
  2. While in Chrome, tap the "Menu" icon
  3. Tap "Settings"
  4. Under "Advanced", tap "Privacy"
  5. Tap "Clear browsing data"
  6. Select the data that you wish to clear
  7. Tap "Clear"

Syncing Options

Enabling / Disabling Background Data:

  1. Tap the "All apps" icon located on the home screen
  2. Tap "Settings"
  3. Under "Accounts", tap the account that you wish to sync
  4. Press the "menu" icon and tap "Sync now"

Sync Apps & Accounts:

  1. While on the home screen, tap "All apps"
  2. Tap "Settings"
  3. Select the account that you wish to sync
  4. Tap the green "Sync" icon
  5. Select the desired sync options
