Hi,
I'm using a Verizon LG VX11000 with the ReachOutWireless Government program.
I would like to know why this phone is not accepting the MicroSD card I insert? Is it because of the provider that I'm using or is there another reason?
I've tried a 4GB MicroSD card and a 16GB MicroSD card, neither of them was accepted by the phone?
If it is the provider I'm using that restricts my ability to use a MicroSD card is there a way around this to get it to work anyhow?
I'm driving a 1985 van that doesn't have a working radio in it and would like to find a way to listen to music. I could use my phone if it will accept a MicroSD card so that I'd have enough memory to store music on it.
Any suggestions to make this work will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
John

It's hard to say. The phone should accept sizes up to 16gb, but it can sometimes depend on the brand. Are both the cards you tried the same brand? Do you get an error when you put the card in the phone?

No errors occur, the phone just doesn't recognized the card when inserted. When I check under memory to see if it recognizes the card it says: "Card not inserted".
The 16GB is an Adata and the 4GB is a ScanDisk.
My PC recognized the 16GB, in fact I've put music on this card using my PC. My PC is having a hard time recognizing the 4GB card(?).

Yes, they are Micro SDHC cards.
My phone model wasn't available in this sites options. I just picked something to see what the image looked like. I'll have to delete that.Last edited by Johnz414; 04-06-2014 at 06:37 PM.
