Managing Contacts

Adding a New Contact:

  1. Tap the "Contacts" icon located on the home screen
  2. Tap the "+" button to start adding a new contact
  3. Select the location where you want to save the contact, such as "Phone", "SIM" or "Google"
  4. Type in the contact's name in the appropriate field
  5. Enter the contact's phone number, and if necessary, tap the "Mobile" drop-down menu and select the type of phone number
  6. When you're ready, tap "Save"

Importing Contacts:

  1. Launch the "Contacts" application
  2. Press the "Menu" button
  3. Select "Import / Export"
  4. Choose to "Import from SIM card", "Import from SD card" or "Import from internal storage"
  5. Select the location where you wish to import the contacts
  6. Follow any additional on-screen prompts as they pop-up

Exporting Contacts:

  1. Tap the "Contacts" app while on the home screen
  2. Press "Menu" and tap "Import / Export"
  3. Select to "Export to SIM card", "Export to SD card" or "Export to internal storage"
  4. Choose the contacts that you wish to export
  5. Follow any additional on-screen prompts to complete the operation

Assigning a Contact to Speed Dial:

  1. Tap the "Phone" icon located on the home screen
  2. Press the "Menu" button
  3. Tap "Speed dial"
  4. Select the keypad number you wish to use. NOTE: you can choose any number between 2 and 99
  5. Select the contact that you wish to associated with the keypad number

Deleting a Contact:

  1. Open the "Contacts" application
  2. Tap and hold the contact that you wish to remove
  3. Tap "Delete contact" and press "Yes" to confirm
  4. The "Deleted" message will appear briefly

Managing Caller Groups

Creating a New Caller Group:

  1. Launch the "Contacts" app
  2. Access the "Groups" tab
  3. Press the "Menu" button
  4. Tap "New group" and enter the group's name
  5. Optionally, select a ringtone for the group
  6. Add members to the group if you desire, and tap "Save"

Adding Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

  1. From the "Contacts" application, access the "Groups" tab
  2. Select the desired group
  3. Press the "Menu" key
  4. Tap "Edit group" > "Add members"
  5. Select the contacts that you wish to add
  6. Tap "Add" > "Save"

Removing Contacts from a Caller Group:

  1. While on a home screen, tap "Contacts"
  2. Go to the "Groups" tab
  3. Select the group that you wish to edit
  4. Press "Menu" and tap "Edit group"
  5. Tap the red "X" button associated with the member(s) that you wish to remove from the group
  6. Tap "Save"
