Transferring Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Use the USB cable to connect the LG F60 to your computer
  2. When prompted, tap "Media sync (MTP)". If the prompt doesn't appear, swipe the "Notification" bar down and select to connect the phone as a storage device
  3. From the AutoPlay window on the computer, click "Open device to view files using Windows Explorer"
  4. Launch a second Windows Explorer window and locate the audio files you wish to transfer from the computer
  5. Copy the audio files and paste them in the appropriate directories on your phone's storage, such as "Ringtones", "Notifications" etc.
  6. After the transfer is done, click "Safely Remove Hardware" from the system tray
  7. Click "Safely Remove Mass Storage Device" > "OK"
  8. You can now safely disconnect your smartphone

Change the Phone's Ringtone:

  1. Ensure that the custom audio files have been transferred in the "Ringtones" folder
  2. Open the apps drawer
  3. Tap "Settings" and go to "Sound"
  4. Swipe to "Ringtone & Notifications"
  5. Tap "Phone ringtone" and select the desired ringtone. NOTE: recently added items in the "Ringtones" folder will appear under "My Ringtones"

Changing a Specific Contact's Ringtone:

  1. Launch the "Contacts" application
  2. Select the contact you want to edit
  3. Tap "Edit"
  4. Tap the "Ringtone" drop-down menu
  5. Select the desired ringtone and tap "OK"
  6. Tap "Save" to apply the new ringtone

Change the Phone's Notification Sound:

  1. Ensure that the audio files you wish to use for notifications have been transferred in the "Notifications" folder
  2. Tap "Apps" from the home screen
  3. Access "Settings" and tap "Sound"
  4. Swipe to "System" and tap "Notification sound"
  5. Select the audio file you want to set for notifications. NOTE: audio files recently transferred in the "Notifications" folder will be shown under "My Notifications"
  6. In case the notification sound is grayed out / cannot be selected, you need to change the "Sound Profile" from "Silent" to "Sound"
