Transferring Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Use the USB cable to connect the LG F60 to your computer
- When prompted, tap "Media sync (MTP)". If the prompt doesn't appear, swipe the "Notification" bar down and select to connect the phone as a storage device
- From the AutoPlay window on the computer, click "Open device to view files using Windows Explorer"
- Launch a second Windows Explorer window and locate the audio files you wish to transfer from the computer
- Copy the audio files and paste them in the appropriate directories on your phone's storage, such as "Ringtones", "Notifications" etc.
- After the transfer is done, click "Safely Remove Hardware" from the system tray
- Click "Safely Remove Mass Storage Device" > "OK"
- You can now safely disconnect your smartphone
Change the Phone's Ringtone:
- Ensure that the custom audio files have been transferred in the "Ringtones" folder
- Open the apps drawer
- Tap "Settings" and go to "Sound"
- Swipe to "Ringtone & Notifications"
- Tap "Phone ringtone" and select the desired ringtone. NOTE: recently added items in the "Ringtones" folder will appear under "My Ringtones"
Changing a Specific Contact's Ringtone:
- Launch the "Contacts" application
- Select the contact you want to edit
- Tap "Edit"
- Tap the "Ringtone" drop-down menu
- Select the desired ringtone and tap "OK"
- Tap "Save" to apply the new ringtone
Change the Phone's Notification Sound:
- Ensure that the audio files you wish to use for notifications have been transferred in the "Notifications" folder
- Tap "Apps" from the home screen
- Access "Settings" and tap "Sound"
- Swipe to "System" and tap "Notification sound"
- Select the audio file you want to set for notifications. NOTE: audio files recently transferred in the "Notifications" folder will be shown under "My Notifications"
- In case the notification sound is grayed out / cannot be selected, you need to change the "Sound Profile" from "Silent" to "Sound"
