Backing Up Applications:

  1. From the home screen, tap "Apps"
  2. Go to "Settings" and swipe to "Personal"
  3. Tap "Backup & reset"
  4. Mark the check box associated with "Back up my data"

Backing Up Contacts:

  1. While on the home screen, tap "Apps"
  2. Go to "Settings" and swipe to "Personal"
  3. Tap "Backup & reset" > "LG Backup service"
  4. Tap "Backup" and select to back up the data on the "Internal storage", "SD Card" or "Cloud"
  5. Tap "Next" and mark the check box next to "Personal data". Clear the other categories
  6. Open the "Personal data" directory and make sure that "Contacts" is selected
  7. Tap "Next"
  8. Press "Start" and at the "Back up completed" message, tap "Done"

Backing Up Data on the SD Card:

  1. Go to the phone's "Settings" menu
  2. Swipe to "Personal" and tap "Backup & reset"
  3. Tap "LG Backup service"
  4. Tap "Backup" > "SD Card" > "Next"
  5. Select the items you want to back up and tap "Next"
  6. To begin the backup process, press "Start". NOTE: the process may take several minutes to complete
  7. Press "Done" when the "Backup completed" message appears

Backing Up Media Files Using Your Smartphone:

  1. Access the phone's "Settings" menu
  2. Swipe to "Personal" and tap "Backup & reset"
  3. Tap "LG Backup service" followed by "Backup"
  4. Select between "Internal storage", "SD card" or "Cloud" as the backup location
  5. Tap "Next' and mark the "Media data" check box
  6. Expand the "Media Data" folder and mark the files you want to back up
  7. Tap "Next" and press "Start". The process may take several minutes to complete
  8. Press "Done" at the "Backup completed" message

Backing Up Media Files on a Computer:

  1. Connect the LG F60 to your computer via USB
  2. At the prompt, tap "Media sync (MTP)", otherwise enable the option from the notification area
  3. From the AutoPlay window on the PC, click to browse the phone's folders
  4. Copy the desired media files from your phone's storage and paste them in the desired backup location on your computer's HDD
  5. After the transfer is done, click the "Mass Storage Device" icon from the system tray and eject the phone's storage
  6. It's now safe to disconnect your smartphone from the computer
