Hi everyone, my LG-F100L (some call it OPTIMUS VU) was working fine until a certain morning when I woke up to find it dead. I left it charging overnight (I do that with all my devices). This particular morning the phone still gave me the 6am alarm which I set on it but when I finally got round to waking up, I found it dead.

I thought battery was drained so I charged it for hours with no success. It doesn't even show charging indicator. After some time, it begins to get very warm at the back when plugged into power. Power button does not bring it on. I think the battery is not charging. Please can anyone help me? I have lots of info on this phone.

It sounds like you need a new battery. It getting warm like that tells me that it's bad (I assume it's the battery that's getting warm). If it's bulging get rid of it immediately!

Thanks for your response. It is actually not the battery that warms up. It gets warm well above the battery. Somewhere near the top edge of the phone.
