Restore Applications:

  1. From the home screen, tap “Apps
  2. Access “Settings” and scroll to “Personal
  3. Tap “Backup & reset
  4. Enable the “Automatic restore” check box

Restore Contacts:

  1. From the home screen tap “Apps
  2. Go to “Settings
  3. Swipe to “Personal
  4. Tap ”Backup & reset
  5. Tap “LG Backup service” > “File restore & management
  6. Browse for and select the backup file you want to restore
  7. Tap “Next” > “Start” (NOTE: The restoration process can take several minutes to complete)
  8. When the “Restored” message pops-up, tap “Done

Restore Data from an SD Card:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Go to “Settings
  3. Under “Personal” tap “Backup & reset
  4. Tap “LG Backup service” > “File restore & management
  5. Elect the file you want to restore and tap “Next”
  6. Tap “Start” to begin the restoration process
  7. At the “Restored” pop-up, tap “Done
  8. Wait for your smartphone to reboot and your data should be restored

Restore Media Files from the Phone:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Access “Settings
  3. Under “Personal”, tap “Backup & reset
  4. Tap “LG Backup service” and select “File restore & management
  5. Locate the desired media file and tap “Next”
  6. Tap “Start” and wait for the process to complete
  7. Tap “Done” at the “Restored” prompt and wait for your smartphone to reboot

Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the LG Magna to your computer via USB
  2. At the prompt, tap “Media sync (MTP)”. Otherwise enable this option from the notification area
  3. Using the file explorer on your computer, locate the media files backed up on your HDD
  4. Copy the files and transfer them to the phone storage
  5. After the transfer is done, click the “Mass storage device” icon in the system tray, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect it from the computer
