Via a Google Account:

NOTE: Using a Google account you can sync the contacts stored on the SGSIII, allowing you to then re-sync the contacts from the account to the LG Leon. To do so:

  1. On the Galaxy SIII sign in with your Google account
  2. On the home screen press “Menu” and go to “Settings
  3. Tap “My Accounts” > “Google
  4. Tap your “user name” or “email address
  5. Enable “Sync Contacts” and tap “Sync now
  6. On the LG Leon, register the same Google account
  7. Set the account so that it syncs contacts with your phone

Via the “Contacts” app:

NOTE: Using the pre-loaded Contacts application you can export the contacts stored on the SGSIII in the form of a VCF backup file. You can then transfer the file to the LG Leon and import its contents using the “Contacts” app

  1. Launch “Contacts” on the Galaxy SIII
  2. Access the “Contacts” tab and press “Menu
  3. Tap “Contacts to display” > “All contacts
  4. Press “Menu” > “Import / Export
  5. Tap “Export to SD card” and write down the backup file’s name for future use
  6. Tap “OK
  7. Once you have obtained the VCF file, compose a new email containing it as an attachment, and send it to your Gmail address
  8. Switch over to the LG Leon, open the email and download the attached file
  9. Open “Contacts” and tap “Menu” > “Manage contacts
  10. Tap “Import” and add the VCF file in the “From” field
  11. In the “To” field select “Google” or “Phone
  12. Select individual contacts you want to import or tap “Select all
  13. Tap “Import” > “Yes

NOTE: Once you have created the VCF file on the SGSIII you can transfer it to the LG Leon by connecting both devices to your PC via USB.

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is a third party application that can be used to transfer contacts and other types of files from one phone to another using a P2P connection. To transfer contacts using this app:

  1. Visit the Play Store and install “Send Anywhere” on both of your smartphones
  2. Launch the app on both handsets
  3. On the Galaxy SIII, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  4. Choose the contacts you want to share and tap “Send
  5. Select a method of transfer. You can tap “Receive” on the LG Leon and manually enter the randomly generated transfer code from the iPhone, or you can tap “Generate QR Code” on the SGSIII and scan the code with the LG smartphone’s camera to begin the transfer
