Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG G4 Beat to your computer via USB
- At the prompt, tap “Media Sync (MTP)” (otherwise enable the option from the notification area)
- In the AutoPlay window on the computer, click to “Open device to view files”
- Open a second Windows Explorer window and locate the desired audio files stored on your PC’s HDD
- Copy the files and transfer them on your phone, in the first Explorer window (preferably in the “Ringtones” & “Notifications” folders)
- Once the transfer is done, click “Safely Remove Hardware” in the system tray
- Click “Safely Remove Mass Storage Device” > “OK”
- It’s now safe to disconnect the phone from the PC
Change the Phone’s Ringtone:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Go to “Settings”
- Access the “Sound & notifications” tab
- Tap “Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change the Ringtone of a Single Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts stored on the SIM card or phone storage
- Launch “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact
- Tap the “Edit” icon depicting a pencil
- Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Press “OK” to confirm and save the changes
Change the Notification Sound:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Go to “Settings” and tap the “Sound & notification” tab
- Swipe to “Advanced settings” and tap “More”
- Tap “Notification sound”
- Select the desired sound and tap “OK”
