Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the LG G4 Beat to your computer via USB
  2. At the prompt, tap “Media Sync (MTP)” (otherwise enable the option from the notification area)
  3. In the AutoPlay window on the computer, click to “Open device to view files
  4. Open a second Windows Explorer window and locate the desired audio files stored on your PC’s HDD
  5. Copy the files and transfer them on your phone, in the first Explorer window (preferably in the “Ringtones” & “Notifications” folders)
  6. Once the transfer is done, click “Safely Remove Hardware” in the system tray
  7. Click “Safely Remove Mass Storage Device” > “OK
  8. It’s now safe to disconnect the phone from the PC

Change the Phone’s Ringtone:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Go to “Settings
  3. Access the “Sound & notifications” tab
  4. Tap “Ringtone
  5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK

Change the Ringtone of a Single Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts stored on the SIM card or phone storage

  1. Launch “Contacts
  2. Select the desired contact
  3. Tap the “Edit” icon depicting a pencil
  4. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  5. Press “OK” to confirm and save the changes

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Go to “Settings” and tap the “Sound & notification” tab
  3. Swipe to “Advanced settings” and tap “More
  4. Tap “Notification sound
  5. Select the desired sound and tap “OK
