Restore Contacts:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Go to “Settings
  3. Tap “Menu” and if necessary switch to “List view
  4. Under “Personal” tap “Backup & reset
  5. Tap “LG Backup service
  6. Tap “File restore & management
  7. Browse for and select the backup file
  8. Tap “Next” > “Start
  9. At the “Recorded” pop-up, tap “Done

Restore Contacts from the SD Card:

  1. Open “Settings
  2. Switch to “List view” if necessary
  3. Tap “Backup & reset” under “Personal
  4. Tap “LG Backup service” > “Backup and restore
  5. Tap “File restore & management
  6. Locate and select the backup file on the SD card
  7. Tap “Next” > “Start
  8. Tap “Done” at the “Restored” message

Restore Media Files From the Phone:

  1. Go to “Settings
  2. Scroll to “Personal
  3. Tap “Backup & reset
  4. Tap “LG Backup service” > “File restore & management
  5. Locate and select the media file backup
  6. Tap “Next” > “Start
  7. Tap “Done

Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the LG V10 to your computer via USB
  2. On the phone, tap to enable “Media sync (MTP)
  3. From the AutoPlay window on the computer, select to browse the phone’s files and folders
  4. Open a second Explorer window and locate the media files backed up on your computer
  5. Copy the files, and transfer them back on your smartphone
  6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the computer
