Restore Contacts:
- Open the apps drawer
- Go to “Settings”
- Tap “Menu” and if necessary switch to “List view”
- Under “Personal” tap “Backup & reset”
- Tap “LG Backup service”
- Tap “File restore & management”
- Browse for and select the backup file
- Tap “Next” > “Start”
- At the “Recorded” pop-up, tap “Done”
Restore Contacts from the SD Card:
- Open “Settings”
- Switch to “List view” if necessary
- Tap “Backup & reset” under “Personal”
- Tap “LG Backup service” > “Backup and restore”
- Tap “File restore & management”
- Locate and select the backup file on the SD card
- Tap “Next” > “Start”
- Tap “Done” at the “Restored” message
Restore Media Files From the Phone:
- Go to “Settings”
- Scroll to “Personal”
- Tap “Backup & reset”
- Tap “LG Backup service” > “File restore & management”
- Locate and select the media file backup
- Tap “Next” > “Start”
- Tap “Done”
Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG V10 to your computer via USB
- On the phone, tap to enable “Media sync (MTP)”
- From the AutoPlay window on the computer, select to browse the phone’s files and folders
- Open a second Explorer window and locate the media files backed up on your computer
- Copy the files, and transfer them back on your smartphone
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the computer
