Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with a Google account. Then you can sync the account data with the LG G Vista 2 to transfer the contacts on the Android device.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Establish a USB connection between the iPhone and PC
  3. After it connects, click the iPhone in iTunes to view the summary page
  4. Access the “Info” tab and turn on “Sync Contacts With
  5. Select “Google Contacts” in the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing one
  7. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  8. Lastly, register the same Google account used in iTunes on the LG G Vista 2, and allow the account to sync contacts with your phone

Using iCloud:

NOTE: If you’ve used the iCloud backup service on your iPhone before finding this guide, the contacts on your iPhone should already be backed up on your iCloud account. You can access your account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on your computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  4. Once the vCard file is downloaded on the computer, import it to “Google Contacts” or skip this step and instead:
  5. Connect the LG G Vista 2 to your PC via USB, transfer the vCard backup file to the phone storage, and import its contents via “Contacts

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the methods above require access to a computer and an Internet connection, alternatively you can transfer contacts using third party applications, such as My Contacts Backup. This iOS app can be used to back up and transfer contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup
  3. Once the backup file is created, tap “Email” to attach the file to a new email
  4. Send the email to your own address
  5. On the Vista 2, open the email and download the attached vCard file
  6. Open “Contacts” and use the “Import” option to add the vCard’s contents to your phonebook

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app that has the ability to transfer contacts and other file types over a P2P connection, without requiring access to a computer. To use this method:

  1. Go to the Google Play Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the LG G Vista 2
  2. Open the App Store and install the app on the iPhone
  3. Launch the application on both handsets
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send
  6. Lastly, choose a sharing method. You can tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the LG G Vista 2’s camera, or tap “Receive” on the G Vista 2 and enter the transfer code generated on the iPhone
