Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG G Vista 2 to your computer via USB
- From the notification area on the phone, ensure the device is connected as “Media sync (MTP)”
- Open an Explorer window on the computer
- In Explorer, navigate to the desired audio files on the PC and copy them
- Transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory and “Alarms” / “Notifications” / “Ringtones” folder(s)
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray
- Safely disconnect the phone from the USB connector
Change the Phone Ringtone:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Open “Settings”
- Access the “Sounds & notification” tab
- Tap “Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change the Ringtone for One Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts stored on the SIM or the phone’s internal memory.
- Tap “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact
- Tap the “Edit” icon depicting a pencil
- Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Press “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open the “Settings” menu
- Access the “Sound & Notification” tab
- Scroll to “Advanced settings” and tap “More”
- Tap “Notification sound” and select the desired audio file
- Tap “OK” set it
