Restore Contacts from an LG Backup:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Open “Settings”
  3. If necessary, tap “Menu” and switch to “List view”
  4. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Backup & reset”
  5. Scroll to “LG Backup” and tap “Restore from backup”
  6. Locate and select the desired backup file
  7. Tap “Start” and wait for the process to complete. This may take several minutes
  8. At the “Restored” prompt, tap “Done”
  9. You may have to reboot your phone to complete the restore

Restore Contacts from the SD Card:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Scroll to and tap “Settings”
  3. If necessary, tap “Menu” and switch to “List view”
  4. Tap “Backup & reset” under “LG Backup service”
  5. Locate and select the SD card backup file
  6. Tap “Start” and at the “Restored” prompt, tap “Done”
  7. It may be necessary for the phone to restart in order to complete the restore

Restore Media Files from a Backup File:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen and go to “Settings”
  2. Switch to “List view” from the “Menu” if necessary
  3. Tap “Backup & reset” under “Device”
  4. Scroll to “LG Backup” and tap “Restore from backup”
  5. Locate and select the media backup file and tap “Start”
  6. Once “Restore completed” pops-up, tap “Restart” and wait for the phone to reboot

Restore Media Files from a Windows Computer:

  1. Connect the LG G Vista 2 to your PC via USB
  2. Make sure the connection is set to “Media sync (MTP)” from the notification area
  3. Launch an Explorer / My Computer window on the PC
  4. Locate the desired media files / media backup “.sbf” file on the computer
  5. Copy the file(s) and transfer it / them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
  6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB connector
