Back Up App Data:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Open “Settings”
  3. Access the “General” tab if necessary
  4. Under “Phone management”, tap “Backup & reset”
  5. Enable “Back up my data”

Back Up Data to the SD Card:

  1. Access the phone’s “Settings” menu
  2. Scroll to “Phone Management” and tap “Backup & reset”
  3. Under “LG Backup”, tap “Back up safely”
  4. Tap “Back up to” and select “SD Card”
  5. Choose the items you want to back up
  6. Tap “Start” and wait for the “Backup completed” prompt
  7. Tap “Done”

Back Up Contacts to LG Cloud:

  1. Go to “Settings”
  2. Scroll to “Phone Management”
  3. Tap “Backup & reset”
  4. Tap “Back up safely” under “LG Backup”
  5. Tap “Back up to” and select “LG Cloud”
  6. At the prompt, sign in with your LG account
  7. Tap “Personal data”
  8. Deselect the other options and expand the “Personal data” folder
  9. Make sure “Contacts” is selected and tap “Start”
  10. At the “Back up completed” prompt, tap “Done”

Back Up Media Files Using the Phone:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Open “Settings” and scroll to “Phone Management”
  3. Tap “Backup & reset”
  4. Tap “Back up safely” under “LG Backup”
  5. Select “Mobile data” and deselect the non-media options
  6. Expand “Media data” and select the media files you want to back up
  7. Tap “Start” and wait for the “Back up completed” prompt
  8. Tap “Done”

NOTE: After you back up the media files using the method above, you can connect the LG K10 to your computer via USB (enable “Media sync (MTP)” if necessary), and transfer the “.sbf” media backup file on the PC storage.

Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

  1. Establish a USB connection between the LG K10 and PC
  2. On the phone, swipe the “status” bar down and make sure “Media sync (MTP)” is enabled
  3. On the computer, launch the File Explorer
  4. Locate the media files on your phone
  5. Copy the files and paste them in the desired backup location on the computer
  6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray
  7. You can now safely disconnect the phone from the USB
