Restore App Data:
- From the home screen, swipe the “Notification” bar down
- Tap “Settings” in the upper-right corner
- Access “General”
- Tap “Backup & reset”
- Scroll to “LG Backup” and tap “Restore from backup”
- Select the backup file you want to restore
- Tap “Start” and wait for the “Restored” pop-up
- Tap “Done” and, if necessary, wait for our phone to reboot and complete the restore
Restore Contacts From an SD Card:
- Slide the “Notification” bar down on the home screen
- Access “Settings” and go to “General”
- Tap “backup & reset”
- Under “LG Backup service”, tap “Restore from backup”
- Locate and select the SD card backup file you want to restore
- Tap “Start”
- When prompted with “Restored”, tap “Done”
- If necessary, wait for your device to reboot
Restore Media Files Using Your Phone:
- Open the phone’s “Settings” menu
- Tap “General” > “Backup & reset”
- Scroll to “LG Backup” and tap “Restore from backup”
- Select the desired media file backup
- Tap “Start”
- When prompted with “Restored completed”, tap “Restart” and wait for your phone to reboot
Restore Media Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the LG X Cam to your computer via USB
- When prompted, enable “File transfer (MTP)”, otherwise enable the option from the phone’s “Notification” area
- On the computer, open the File Explorer
- Locate the media files or the desired “.sbf” file backed up on your computer
- Copy the desired files and transfer them on the phone storage
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the handset from the USB cord
