Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the LG Stylo 2 to your computer via USB
- At the prompt, tap “Media sync (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)”, otherwise enable the option from the “Notification” area
- On the computer, open the File Explorer
- Locate the desired audio files and copy them
- Transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications" folders
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- On the home screen, swipe the “Status” bar down
- Go to “Settings”
- Scroll to, and tap “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Ringtone”
- Select a ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm
Change a Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be added to contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” (pencil icon in the upper-right corner)
- Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK” to apply the changes
Change the Notification Alert:
- Go to “Settings”
- Scroll to, and tap “Sound & notification”
- Tap “More” > “Notification sound”
- Select the notification sound you want to use and tap “OK” to save the changes
