Back Up App Data:

  1. Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen
  2. Tap “Settings
  3. Access the “General” tab
  4. Tap “Backup & reset” and turn on “Back up my data

Back Up Contacts on the SD Card:

  1. Open “Settings
  2. If necessary, access the “General” tab
  3. Tap “Backup & reset
  4. Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & restore
  5. Tap “Back up data
  6. Enable “SD Card
  7. Select the contacts you want to back up
  8. Tap “Start” and wait for the “Backup completed” prompt
  9. Tap “Done

Back Up Contacts on an LG Account:

  1. Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen
  2. Open “Settings
  3. Go to “General
  4. Tap “Backup & reset
  5. Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & restore
  6. Tap “Back up data” at the prompt
  7. Select “LG Cloud” and sign in with your “LG Account
  8. Enable “Personal data” and disable all the other options
  9. Expand the “Personal data” folder and select “Contacts
  10. Tap “Start
  11. When prompted with “Backup completed”, tap “Done

Back Up Media Files On Your Phone:

  1. Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen
  2. Open “Settings
  3. Access the “General” tab
  4. Tap “Backup & reset
  5. Tap “LG Backup
  6. Tap “Backup & restore” and enable “Media data
  7. Disable the other non-media options
  8. Tap “Start” and wait for the “Backup completed” pop-up
  9. Tap “Done

Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

  1. Connect the LG Stylus 2 Plus to your computer via USB
  2. When prompted, enable “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)”, or enable the option from the “Notification” area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the media files on your device and copy them
  5. Paste the files in the desired backup location on the computer
  6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
