Back Up App Data:
- Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen
- Tap “Settings”
- Access the “General” tab
- Tap “Backup & reset” and turn on “Back up my data”
Back Up Contacts on the SD Card:
- Open “Settings”
- If necessary, access the “General” tab
- Tap “Backup & reset”
- Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & restore”
- Tap “Back up data”
- Enable “SD Card”
- Select the contacts you want to back up
- Tap “Start” and wait for the “Backup completed” prompt
- Tap “Done”
Back Up Contacts on an LG Account:
- Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “General”
- Tap “Backup & reset”
- Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & restore”
- Tap “Back up data” at the prompt
- Select “LG Cloud” and sign in with your “LG Account”
- Enable “Personal data” and disable all the other options
- Expand the “Personal data” folder and select “Contacts”
- Tap “Start”
- When prompted with “Backup completed”, tap “Done”
Back Up Media Files On Your Phone:
- Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen
- Open “Settings”
- Access the “General” tab
- Tap “Backup & reset”
- Tap “LG Backup”
- Tap “Backup & restore” and enable “Media data”
- Disable the other non-media options
- Tap “Start” and wait for the “Backup completed” pop-up
- Tap “Done”
Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:
- Connect the LG Stylus 2 Plus to your computer via USB
- When prompted, enable “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)”, or enable the option from the “Notification” area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media files on your device and copy them
- Paste the files in the desired backup location on the computer
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
