Restore App Data:
- Swipe the “Status” bar down while viewing the home screen
- Open “Settings”
- Access the “General” tab if necessary
- Tap “Backup & reset”
- Under “LG Backup”, tap “Restore from backup”
- Select the backup file you want to restore
- Tap “Start” and wait for the “Restored” prompt
- Tap “Done”. If necessary, wait for your device to reboot and complete the process
Restore Contacts from an SD Card Backup:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “General”
- Tap “Backup & reset”
- Under “LG Backup”, tap “Restore from backup”
- Locate and select the SD card backup you want to restore
- Tap “Start”
- When prompted with “Restored”, tap “Done”
- If necessary, wait for your device to reboot
Restore Media Files From Your Phone:
- Open “Settings”
- Tap “General”
- Tap “Backup & reset”
- Under “LG Backup”, tap “Restore from backup”
- Locate and select the media backup files you want to restore and tap “Start”
- At the “Restore completed” prompt, tap “Restart” and wait for your phone to reboot
Restore Media Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the LG device to your computer via USB
- When prompted, enable “Media sync (MTP)” or “File Transfer (MTP)”, or enable the option from the “Notification” area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media file backups, or the desired “.sbf” backup file you want to restore
- Copy and paste the file(s) on the phone storage
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
