Sync iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the LG phone.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your computer using the Lightning cable
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes
  4. Access the “Info” tab
  5. Enable “Sync Contacts With
  6. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  7. Sign in with the Google account, or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  8. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  9. Once done, switch to the LG X Skin and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  10. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with Internet access, and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Access “Contacts” and select the contact you want to share
  5. Click “Settings
  6. Access “Export vCard
  7. Once the vCard has been downloaded, perform one of the steps below:
    • Import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the LG X Skin to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can transfer your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the application and tap “Backup
  3. After the backup file is created, tap “Email
  4. Write a new email and ensure the vCard is attached
  5. Send the email to your own address
  6. Switch to the LG device and open the email, then download the attachment
  7. Use “Contacts” to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party application you can use to transfer iPhone contacts is Send Anywhere. The app is available on Android and iOS, and uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Install the same app on the LG device from the Google Play Store
  3. Open the app on both devices
  4. Tap “Send” on the iPhone, and select “Contacts
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send
  6. Lastly, choose a transfer method. Example: you can tap “Receive” on the LG device and enter the transfer code from the iPhone, or tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the LG device’s camera to begin the transfer
