How-to: LG X Max: Manage Call Forwarding; Block / Unblock Calls & Messages

Enable Call Forwarding:

1. Swipe the “Notification” bar down on the home screen
2. Open “Settings”
3. Tap “Call”
4. Under “Incoming Call”, tap “Call forwarding”
5. Select to “Always forward” and enter the phone number you want to forward calls to (alternatively tap “Contacts” and select one from the phonebook)
6. Tap “Turn on”

Turn On Conditional Call Forwarding:

1. Go to “Settings”
2. Tap “Call” > “Call forwarding”
3. Under “Forward if”, select to forward incoming calls if “Unreachable”, “Unanswered” or “Busy”
4. Enter or edit the phone number you want to forward calls to, or tap “Contacts” and select a contact from the phonebook
5. Tap “Update” / “Turn on”

Disable Call Forwarding:

1. Launch “Settings”
2. Tap “Call” > “Call forwarding”
3. Choose the forwarding option you want to disable and tap “Turn off”

Block Incoming Calls from a Phone Number / Contact:

1. Open “Settings”
2. Tap “Call” > “Decline and reject calls”
3. Tap “Reject calls from”
4. Tap “+” and follow one of the steps below:
   
   • To block a contact: select the contact and tap “Done”
   • To block a call log entry or contact: select the entry and tap “Done”
   • To block a phone number: enter it and tap “Save”

Unblock Incoming Calls:

1. Launch “Settings”
2. Tap “Call” > “Decline and reject calls”
3. Tap “Reject calls from”
4. Tap the “Trash can” icon and select the phone number you want to unblock
5. Tap “Delete” > “Yes” to confirm

Block Messages:

1. Open “Messaging” and tap “Menu”
2. Tap “Register spam numbers”
3. Select if you wish to “Delete all messages of the selected number”
4. Tap “Yes”

Unblock Messages:

1. Launch “Messaging”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Spam manager”
3. Tap “Spam settings”
4. Access “Spam numbers” and tap the “trash can” icon associated with the phone number you want to unblock
5. Tap “Delete” > “Yes”
